    • Mr VVG knowing how dreadful I felt last night when the dreaded migraine came on, so this morning he was on the lotty at 06:45 to water all my new plantings. Because he saw the spuds through at last, he also earthed up the rows and then asked if that was the right thing to have done yet. Yes said I - trust your instinct - and thank you!

      • Peanut flips. They are sooooo good.

I know they're carb-heavy. I'm working on the principle that if'n I eat all of the bags in the shop, they won't have any more left for me to eat......they only get them two or three times a year.

                      • The grass hopper warblers have returned. I was so happy to hear them. They make the most amazing sound, like a bicycle wheel spinning, non stop ticking sound. Its a cold evening here with a storm brewing so I hope they won't freeze, they are just tiny little birds!

...I have spend most of the morning though trying to get a burnt on layer of grease/oil off it though
Have you tried putting cheap cola in it, put it on to boil and soak for a few hours, not tried it myself but have heard it works wonders for burnt on stuff!
