            • Aching so much after planting potatoes that I had to come in for a cuppa T and a sit down. That makes me happy, so does planting all the Lolla Rosso or however you spell it, red lettuce, in the bed I have prepared for salad, along with radish, and spring onion. Its a bit scorchio for them but I hope its doing them good and not bad. Ill give them another water later when it cools off a bit and then later tonight i'll tuck them up in a fleece for the night.
              I love gardening I do!

              • An almost pain-free husband. He's quite happy, all those lovely girls waiting on him!

They've got him on a new painkiller - forget the name - and he can only take a lower dose at home, but it does seem to be working better than the meds he had before. The chap from the pain clinic is going in to chat to him this afternoon.

And it's still beautiful out there!

                    • Sitting down. Especially sitting down after planting 150 onion seedlings, and then potting up 70+ calendula seedlings, 30 pepper and chili plants and 20 odd tomatoes! Pass the chocolate someone...

                      • Do you put some calendula petals in your bath, Sarz?

Waking up naturally - well, by the cats and the birds - feeling wide awake and refreshed at 5am! I've got everything done bar the vacuuming (too noisy) and I've still got the whole day ahead!

My new el cheapo CDS have just been delivered - as has an email from the courier to tell me they've just been delivered!

                        • Kind Roofers!!
A roof man from down the road came to look at a leak in some flashing and cleaned out a blocked downpipe just for the fun of it. Wish I had his confidence to walk around on the roof - even if it is just a single storey extension.
He'll be back next week to do some flashing!! What will the neighbours say

And the mystery person who left me a pallet yesterday. I know where it came from but not who delivered it - neither does the person whose pallet it was!
