Morning all,Mothhawk hope you get some relief soon,thats so sore,Snoop i hope your pussy soon settles down,he must have had a shock,went to book an appointment at the GP,on asking what it was for,i was seen in just over an hour,upshot is,i was examined,and he found a lump,so am on another 2 week referal,have a pain for a bit on and off,then the changes started and how quickly to,also as i have said before my voice box not right,the last week i started coughing bad again,but THIS time,a look in my throut was had,i have another infection,mouth blisters ext,hard to eat as mouth ext so sore,it also involves the face, gums ears and glands ext,so been given 500 m pills 4 times a day for 10 days,so all in all am cheesed off,fed up off pills that have to be taken on an empty tummy,it's a jugling act,just when dare to think i am on the path again,think pain wise,my mouth and gums are the worst, at least i have support from people around me,so am a bit of colour again,with jangling nerve ends,i just hope he got the diognosice wrong,or is benighn

Really sorry to hear your news, LD. Hope it proves to be nothing. I'm sure you must be worried, but about 80% of breast lumps, for example, are benign. So there's more possibility of that than the other. When's your appointment? I'm sure not just me but all all of us will be thinking of you in the meantime.

I take those same pills, twenty minutes before you consume anything. I keep them and a small bottle of water by the bed and take them as soon as I'm awake enough. By the time I've got dressed, fed the dog and possibly the cats if they're around and the kettle has boiled, that's near enough twenty minutes. I used to keep forgetting to take them, but I've got into a routine now.

In the meantime, hope those other pills sort your infection out.

Domestics for me today. I had another rubbish sleep so not exactly full of beans yet.

Lots of hugs, Lottie, hope the mouth infection clears up quickly, it's miserable not being able to eat and swallow properly. I prescribe lots of ice cream and jelly! Fingers crossed the lump is nothing significant too.

I was half watching Raymond Blanc on TV this morning. He cooked aubergine parmigiano. It has now gone on my list of "must cook" meals. It looked so good I could practically taste it.

I love aubergine so I looked up the program and watched RB make it. Definitely on my "must make" list too, GF, thanks for posting about it. Have you tried Sacla aubergine pesto? It's delicious and I use it a lot, with pasta, on roast veg, as a dip, or just spread on bread. Yum!

Morning all.

Not a terribly productive morning so far, but Frankie sat on a rock and watched Missie and Jack play fight, but Jack is getting a bit pushy with her, so what Frankie would have made of it I don't know. Anyway, it's a start.

Plenty on the cards, but it's swelterously hot and going to remain hot for the next few days. Planning to do a bit of work and then go and tidy up in the basement, where it's nice and cool.

Lottie, how scary, and how painful. I hope that, at the very least you can eat cool, soothing food soon.

I haven't tried the aubergine pesto, but I'm still updating my next online shopping list, so it can be added..... I do like watching Raymond Blanc, well actually listening to him. I've always loved to hear French men speak English. Oh là là.

^Very pretty birds, Flo (I'm resisting saying the word 'charming'). Must have been a lovely sight. If you're lucky, you might get more, I guess.

Flo, Goldfinches are very pretty we seem to get a fair few of them they come to feed of the Teasels that pop up all over the garden. They love Niger seeds from animal feed stores maybe put a few seeds around to tempt them.

Lovely to see a goldfish Flo. Being close to town we mainly get sparrows & an occasional wren visiting our feeders. Nothing so exotic

It's a scorcher here today. Too hot to stay as long as I'd have liked to at the plot. Came home & had a lovely rowntrees mango lolly & now enjoying a v. cold gin & bitter lemon

Thankyou all for the hugs and good wishes,i had to blitz my dinner with the hand blender tonight,even the mushroom was not able to chew,ice cream was a big winner for desert,andraste i also have never seen a goldfish in .the bird bath,bet the water was a bit shallow for it,,i felt a bit better when we got back from church,this heat is beyond a joke now,had to close up all the back openening doors as some kind soul had a fire going and it stunk,it was all i needed,it's been like inside a bean tin on the gas in the lounge,stupid people,last choir practice tommorow before the concert,i am not singing in this one,have told them i will sit on the front row and pull faces at them,it made em chuckle,i still like to go and meet the people and my OH,.
