See the little grey dots at the bottom of the box you are posting in? Put your mouse pointer there, and a text box comes up saying "resize" Left click and hold to drag the box down to make it bigger.

But no longer a < quick reply >, < advanced reply > choice. The quick reply box appears to have been removed and replaced with the advanced reply, so the box hasn't in reality been made bigger.

Wait, no, I'm wrong, there's a toggle button to switch between the two.

Obviously there are tons of bugs but is someone looking at the layout of this upgrade on mobiles? Surely they account for a hefty percentage of the traffic to the forum these days. It's an absolute mess on mine. To the point that I can't really use the forum. All modern web platforms can detect mobile browsers and adjust accordingly and I doubt this one is any different. I'll even help sort it out if needed.

We have asked Admin to look into it SS.
The upgrade is still ongoing and steadily progressing.
We'll soon put up a specific thread for Grapes to point out any concerns they feel need looking into.

Just a quick update on the new format, the upgrade is actually a transfer to a new system/provider, v bulletin who are an industry wide outfit, they have conducted the change over and now the magazine IT and admin are adapting the system to get it to what we all knew and were used to. Now this is still ongoing and we are hopefully getting closer to the finished article.
I hope you are all finding your way round ok and are able to use some of the new and to me seems much better facilities, keep us posted on any hiccups you find, today the team are concentrating on the mobile access.
