Cumberland sausage with mash, cabbage and carrots. Tinned peaches and mandarins in jelly with cream.

Pasta and meatballs in a tomato mushroom sauce.

Fish - possibly cod - with a side salad, followed by fresh fruit salad and live yogurt.

Sooop (mine is bought fresh 3 bean and chilli) Himself will have a 57 vegetable Rest of the frut, jelly and cream.

Home made beef burgers with cheesy wedges. Heart shaped dunkin doughnuts.

Elk with jacket sweet potato, lingonberry sauce, roast spuds and parsnips and sprouts.

A selection of tiny sweet cakes/ tarts for pud.

Only ate half the elk so we’ll be having that tomorrow.

Mushroom, veg and lentil; cottage pie.

Winter mash ( potatoes mashed with onion,carrots and celeriac) served with elk and sprouts.
Fresh fruit salad for pud.

There will be a small amount of elk left for tomorrow, so we’ll have that on Monday with a pasta, broccoli and mushroom bake.

Would I buy elk again?…nah, not worth the extra cost.

Madhur Jaffrey recipe for black-eyed beans with mushroom. Havent had this in a while, but we quite like it. Even me and I'm not a huge mushroom fan.
