We are not having what I expected, whatever that was. This morning I put some pork belly slices (half ofd 1 kilo pack) in the slow cooker with some garlic, herbs, wine a bit of water and a stock cube. This was to make some potted meat/paté/ meat paste type creation. I've been checking it every so often this afternoon.
It has now reached the stage where the meat will fall to pieces if prodded with a spoon. It also tastes good, as does the gravy.
I think we'll shortly be having some of it with some mashed potatoes and french beans.
