      • Courgette and feta filo pie with salad and baked sweet pots. More orange slices in a brown sugar and rum syrup. They went down very well the other day.

                      • Bol & chips. I'm not sure how it's going to come out. I sampled the contents of the pan and thought it was rather bitter. Tried the wine and it is rather nasty. Certainly not what that brand of Chianti Classico normally tastes like. More like a £1 bottle of Chilean Malbec

                            • I've had wine that I'd thought of as corked (even got the money back on a few bottles!) but this seemed to be very different. Possibly the previous ones were just affected by mouldy, porous and dry corks and this one was the 'genuine article'. Got a few more bottles of it in the rack, so I might find out.

                              Note to self:- Have a glass of wine before committing any of it to the cooking.
