  • Roasted chicken, roast potatoes, a selection of veg and gravy.
    Stewed apple and ice cream.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

      • Seeing as OH has been grazing on the cake all day , I decided to make an apple, blackberry and blackcurrant crumble for pud instead.

Tomorrow will be left overs of everything.

Oohhhh! That sounds wonderful. I love mushy peas, but unfortunately can't eat them, or any other dried peas/beans. I do occasionally have a fork full or two but always regret it.

I think we'll have cottage pie, carrots and creamed leeks with gravy.

            • We had cheese flan yesterday.

Lamb steaks and as they're on the small side, I'll add some sausage. Roast veg. Strawberries and ice cream.

              • For tomorrow, I’m defrosting a piece of ham shank and smoked sausages to make a stew.
Hope it’s not too salty , but I’ll soak the ham overnight first.

GF I love mushy peas more so than garden ones, it's difficult when you like something you can't eat, I have to avoid citrus fruits.

This evening we're having pizza with salad.

                  • Bren In Pots, I'm really glad I can enjoy citrus. I don't quite know how we go through so many lemons. There's always the odd lime lurking ready to go in a G and T, and we just eat oranges and their relatives. I could really just fancy baked beans on toast occasionally though.

Today I think scampi, sweet potato wedges, and peas or salad with tartare sauce.

                    Hopefully Victoria sponge.

                    • Last night I used up the roast ham joint and made a soup with veg lentils and barley. With homemade sourdough.

Tonight I will pan cook some chicken thighs and have with flatbread and salad I think.

                        More Victoria sponge.
