Fish pie - haven't made one for ages and not sure himself will like it. I've made sure it's very bland just in case. I think he'll even object to the parsley sauce but we'll see

Pea soup tonight. Mr Snoop had brought back some fish fingers for the freezer last night and forgot about them, so we had to eat those instead.

I'm toying with the same idea Bren. Stew/casserole and Yorkshire pudding. I'd better get the slow cooker out.

Mincemeat cake and cream.

Tumble salad using our own lettuce and lambs lettuce - both under fleece. Also featuring one of our own cucumbers we picked 3 weeks ago , a celery - also our own and our own eggs
Main guest will be tinned pilchards.

Pud will be apple and blackcurrant trifle

Soooooooop, of the tinned variety The fish pie was ok yesterday, but neither of us were keen!
Dessert today will also be instant from the freezer!

Steak pie tonight I think although I always feel I should only eat steak pie on a Sunday …who knows why!!

Just realised we also have fresh peppers and chillies to add to our tumble salad. Apart from the pilchards it’s all still homegrown. Feels good!

We've not had pilchards for years its usually Mackerel or Sardines, odd how you stick to certain items instead of branching out.

Being honest Bren…I think it’s the tomato sauce which appeals most to me!

The last time I got thick soup out of the freezer it was apple puree!😋
