Weirdly enough Mr GF got his pasta-less Italian bake. Normally I make the mince, tomato, garlic etc bolognese sauce for the base of the pasta bake. I then cook some pasta to add to it and top it with bechamel sauce and then mozzarella cheese to bake and brown in the oven. It was only when I poured the bechamel sauce on top of the bolognese sauce that I realised I'd forgotten to cook/add the pasta. It still tasted really good.Comment

I was going to make fish pie yesterday but just as I went to get fish out of the freezer Mr GF said could we just have poached eggs on toast.
Today either fish pie or leek and potato soup with fresh bread.Comment
