  • That information will do fine VC as it let's me know that the older leaves of any variety are not suitable eating uncooked, so thanks
    it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

        I started a few different kales in a chocolate box in December https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...-do_98241.html

        These are the ones that germinated.

        Once they're potted on I'll add photos of each type for identification.

        • I love, love, love kale and I'm planning on sowing tomatoes and kale first this year. I absolutely plan on getting some Taunton deane kale this year, and perhaps a few more of the perennial types. I had probably 20 plants last year and I could take a couple of bag fulls every week and you couldn't see I'd touched the plants. My friends got lots of kale lol

          • VeggieChicken I know I'm about 299 years behind w this but NO, I was a kale nutter and will be again. Keep at it. Kale rules.
