  • Yes that's the one.it is pretty and quite random but best in smoothies. It's quite waxy so I think the white fly slide off! Maybe I'll try your one next year.

    • You can't just try "one"! You need to try at least 6. Don't ask me which 6 though

      • Pentland Brig and Hungry Gap seem to attract less fly than the really curly leafed varieties (and taste better too!)

        • Will let you know my favourite some time this winter when I've tried the Daubenton perennial and 'mystery tall' kale from VC! Both growing well by the way

              • Will have to check my seeds but think you sent my daubentons and 'tall, at least 5 feet' kale.

They're both very happy in my garden

                • I have four types on the go. Dwarf curly,Niro de Toscana,Daubertons and Red Devil!

I need to take a few cuttings of the Daubertons and set up a perennial bed to supplement the chooks greens.

Have checked my seeds and you sent me daubentons and 'a tall (5') perennial kale' - is that asparagus kale?

Have some small spare plants from your seeds still in their pots which I'm giving to my mum - sharing the love!

Since then, I've taken a lot of the sideshoots, rooted them and here they are in the ground. Don't know what the larger kale at the back is - so don't ask

                          • That's Bed 21/U - Kale, parsley, Fuchsia berries (pathetic little things) and something beginning with U.
Its weeded on the 21st of each month. Just another of my crazy ideas
