Ok...a little late but I managed to take a photo before we had our dinner in the garden
Everything is going over pretty quick due to lack of water
These heleniums are looking good though not sure of the variety but if I find the label tomorrow I will update my post

I cheated a bit....took this photo last night.
Looking at the photos I should go out and take some more as they look a little past their best. I’ve several of these, they flower for months usually and easily propagated by cuttings.
      Penstemon - plum jerkum

After the heat yesterday and it’s supposed to be hotter today a little some thing to cool off, Arum Lilies, the ones with spotty leaves which I believe are not hardy. I grow them in pots, l love their elegance.

Nice to see you enjoying the beach VC

Oh and the house leeks, look nice plants but do you have any problems with them as one of their uses was to keep a certain type of woman away

I will kick off today with Lychnis. This plant is at its best in the evening when the blooms are luminous and set off beautifully by the silver foliage. Fussy thing though and will only grow where it wants to by self seeding.

I love them ^^^ they spread well in my garden too.

Mine today is a clematis- one of the large flowered varieties. I lost the name years ago.
This plant never gives hundreds of flowers but it is pretty.
