    • Good morning all. After the dreadful weather yesterday it's dry and the sun is out.
I am taking the opportunity to go out walking while it's not raining,
Our car is in for repair, seemingly an electrical fault, hopefully we will have it ba k today,
      Have a good day all,

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

      • After another wild and wet night with hill roads closed with deep snow, it now looks like Spring has arrived, no wind 6 degrees and sunny, not going to be lulled into a false sense of security, snow forecast, so will make the most of the light before the dark returns lol.

we have run out of dog biscuits
Snoop! We've got a cat I'm fairly sure would try to kill us if we let that happen (gutsy little cat-sweety muncher but we love him)

          who's got the nice weather
Not us that's for sure CG - grey & rain, grey & rain, bit more grey & rain

            • I did chuckle at your sister's 'reassurance' re. dementia GF - that type of thing always tickles my funnybone (dark & twisty, me, never, just pragmatic).

I recall my grandmother mentioning to her doctor that if she turned her head too fast she'd come over all dizzy: doc said 'well stop turning your head too fast then & you'll be fine' - still makes me laugh to myself recalling that several years later.

Nice to know chocolate is full of magnesium too. It's also a better source of potassium than bananas. Combined with my theory on chocolate being a fruit & providing balanced nutritional intake, I vote for chocolate to be considered essential in everyone's diet

              • Ah - that makes sense - thanks Snoop. I can't keep up with storm names these days - so many in the last month or so alone. I hope everyone was safe and largely uneffected. x

I’ve discovered I like chocolate 85% coco very tasty how can I have gotten to this age and never tried it before

Snoop I forgot to say new windsocks doing OK but I have no attachment to it like little windsock that Mr Pots made. This one’s bright orange a bit like those on runways.
