Lovely roses rary. I agree re posting on the other Fred .
I've just had a fuss with neighbours collie and they have a new pup who also needed fussed obviously.
Was looking back for and pics of Jack Snoop Puss but didn't see one.
Sunny and warm here, walk done. Was just thinking I hadn't seen anymore horseflies and then one got me
Off food shopping, need to call at the vet which by chance is near the garden centre

Good morning all.

I am still lazing in bed. I think I've had a half decent night's sleep. I've had a confirmation email for my shopping. Only one substitution, and that's just for a different sort of bread.

I got Mr GF's antibiotics from the chemist yesterday. Hopefully they're starting to do him some good. When I got to the surgery to drop his sample off, however, it was shut and deserted.... a training day. I'll try again today.

I'm going to have to leave this bed now, simply to get my caffeine level up to "human" level.

Wow Rary- I can smell those from here!…beautiful!…they look a bit like Peony flowers with all those petals!
What variety are they? A David Austin variety?

Good morning, no Nicos not David Austin and sorry dont know the variety, I bought them from a rose breeder by the name of Train with a nursery near Ayr I have had them for a number of years and have lost the names and really the photo doesn't do them justice, and Snoop feel free to move them to wherever you want,

A lovely dog Snoop just wish OH would change her mind and I would have a dog here in jig time, I have had a dog in the house since I was four and really miss having one now, though there are two at me feet just now and as much as I love having them they are not mine, though Daisy is always reluctant to be going home and has spent more time here than at my daughters, dogs show such affection, if I locked OH and Daisy in the garage for an hour or so guess who would be looking so pleased to see me have a good day Folks and find something to make you smile, but remw to pass it on

It sounds as if Jack has really settled in, Snoop. He will now, no doubt, push at your boundaries to see what he can get away with. He really is a handsome chap.

The paper blinds that I ordered should be arriving early this afternoon. We've got no sunshine forecast for today however. I was going to change the bedding and wash it this morning but I've just looked at the latest weather forecast and we've suddenly got a good chance of rain showers starting in the next hour. I'll think about it later. If I wash the bedding I want it to get a good blow on the line to get rid of all the creases.

My shopping has now arrived, including the mini Häagen-Dazs pots. Everything is well in date and looks good.

Good morning all. Wet start to the day but its to clear away later.

Rary, beautiful roses, and I love the colour of the pink one, it reminds me of the old moss rose.

Snoop, Jack is a very handsome fellow, looks like he is posing for that pic.

Not a lot to report, we were to go to visit my Josn in the nursing home but my friend is doen with covid.
If it continues raining I will probably take myself off to the library.

Morning all,thank goodness it has cooled down a bit more,Jack has lovely markings on him,he seems to keep you on your toes,you all sound busy,i see the council have been and marked the kerbs on my front,i put in to have them dropped,just waiting now for how much,ext ext,Rary the roses are beautiful,i have have 3 climbers and 2 bush so far,along a bit of my new taking shape boarder,this is the first year they really sown themselves,they are so beautifull,got to train them up trellis or wires over the dormant season,still not got my appointment,i have to chase the GP again,they said last week it was refered again with urgent attatched,thats 3 weeks tomorrow,do they think at my young age i will not matter,well i have news for them,i am fed up with the agrivation and pain i get,is getting more off it,just hope we can make our booked holiday in september,i want my mind back on track,

Garlic bought…Hibou medicine bought….small grory hop sorted and now heading for some domestics before I start weeding.

Snoop!…wow , Jack looks really lovely..and not as chunky as I was expecting. What a pretty face….has he worked out yet how to use those little brown eyebrows to his advantage?

If you locked them in by accident, I think they might both be glad to see you. If you did it deliberately, that might be a different matter!

Good Morning All Just put the Grory Hop away. Strawberries have a short date, but the driver refunded them and let us keep them I'm about to make a cake for Himself 's birthday tomorrow. He'll not have any, but visitors will. I'm also making beefburgers today for the freezer, we don't like shop bought ones.
The roses are beautiful Rary.
You're right about Jack Snoop - he's a big boy and so very sweet!

Good afternoon all.
Back indoors as rain has stopped me doing any more in the garden,
Been in the greenhouse, cutting some lower leaves from my tomatoes and tying thrm up
They have been fed and watered as have my peppers and cape gooseberries.

Not sure what happened to our weather- forecast of light showers throughout the day has turned into 27C and very little cloud cover.
Too hot to work out there anymore so will now turn to preparing food for tonight!

I deserve an award for biggest gardening fail today. Went to give my recently sown & just showing lettuce a little spritz of water - wasn't paying attention obviously as I picked up the wrong bottle from under the sink & squirted them with kitchen cleaner instead It's in a bright yellow bottle of a completely different shape for goodness sake! Bin smells nicely of lemons now
