Thanks Snoop - could have been worse - at least nothing broken, but it's shaken his confidence.
We've got Frank today while the newly weds do some last minute shopping for their honeymoon that has turned into hours!

Good evening, I hope your OH is feeling a bit more confident now Flo, sadly as we get older, when things like that happens it can give you quite a shake, well so I have been told I wish you both well.
It has been a day of very heavy rain, and still continuing, I have spent most of the day in the greenhouse, where I actually kindled the fire, I kept my self busy all day, OH happened to mention the cleaning of a couple of blinds but I had to let her know that I had too much to do so would get it tomorrow, oh I just remembered Tuesday is our shopping day, oh dear I wonder if she will remember I said that I would do that job for her, if not I might reminder her, or I might not, will see how i feel tomorrow, have a peaceful evening and remember to pass on the smiles tomorrow

Good morning all.

It's a bit grey, miserable and cool here with rain in the offing.

I've got a supermarket delivery due between 10am and 11am. I've just had a text and email to say my air fryer is arriving this morning too.

I think I'll make Mr GF some more raspberry buns while I'm awaiting my deliveries. They are his favourite food at the moment and it only takes about 5 minutes to make the dough in the food processor. The first food processor that I ever bought, secondhand at a car boot sale, I only ever used for grating vast amounts of carrot and frozen butter for Christmas puddings. Many years later this one has earned a permanent place on my worktop.

I must ring my brother in law, when I think he'll be up and about, to find out if he's managed to sort out his hard drive box. It sounds to to me as if he's either pressing the wrong buttons, or the batteries in his remote are dying, or he needs a new remote. I've told him to try new batteries first. If he does need a new remote I found a great company that does next day delivery when I needed one. I will check first that he's pressing the right buttons though.

Off to make more coffee now.

Fortunately Hibou tends to pick on my OH to paw, walk over, purr, knock things off his bedside table etc first thing to wake him up.

More domestics for me, some gardening and a grory hop.
Washing machine here is also earning its keep I could hang them out to dry but the clouds look very heavy….

Afternoon all,we back safe and sound,glad the weding went well FF,but sorry about MR,hope he recovers ok,we had a lovely time and really enjoyed it,was so different from being in tents and caravans,is nice to go away,and great to get get back,the garden and greenhouse kept well also,i gave the lot a good soaking and put pots in trays filled with water,opened all the windows and left door open,was so pleased to get back to living plants,yesterday after noon,we did some heavy weeding,lokking so much better,

It's good to hear your wedding went off well, Flo. I hope Mr Flo recovers quickly. Maybe cup of tea duties will work as physiotherapy for him?

By 11am all my deliveries had arrived. I was wondering what on earth I'd ordered from Dunelm when I saw the size of the box.

Upon opening it there was a vast amount of scrunched up packing paper and then filling probably less than half the outer box my air fryer in it's own well packed box. It is unpacked, washed, and in situ. I shall be trying it later. I have also been investigating which baking dishes will fit in it.

Since then I've been out buying bits and bobs ..... in the pouring rain.

My brother in law says that he has sorted out his hard drive. It seems that he "might" have been pressing the wrong buttons or..... pressing the right buttons on the wrong remote.

My son took two birthday cards for me and posted them into the litter bin by the side of the post box! Luckily it was full, so he was able to rescue them
I've had an air fryer for about four years. You just have to remember that anything you can cook in the oven you can cook in the air fryer, you just have to use the dishes and tins that will fit. I've recently done a Victoria sandwich, but nothing bigger than a 6" . Mine is a Ninja with 2 drawers.
