Loads more sploshy stuff overnight, but it looks like it’s having a break for now. Cold mind, with a nippy wind.

Not a lot on the books for today. Indoor stuff by the looks of things.
OH is making hotXbuns, so a bit of drooling on my part will be going on no doubt!

Its just dawned on me that it’s this weekend that the clocks go forward isn’t it? Be nice to have lighter evenings, even if it is hailstoning/ snowing

A chilly morning, but blue skies and sunny. The first thing I did this morning was open the curtains and let the sunshine in. The car was white with frost.

I don't remember falling asleep last night, but I must have been watching TV in bed as I woke up this morning still sitting up, with a fleece hoody and my glasses still on. The TV had long since turned off.

Time for another coffee.

It was lovely and sunny but here's the cloud , I've just checked the gh and it was down to -4 last night in there. No wonder it was so white this morning. I've got bedding on the line but it's a cool breeze blowing.

Nor me - and I'm born and raised in Wales

I have a small amount of 'school' Welsh but couldn't manage a conversation. I'm in South Wales, bordering Monmouthshire & Herefordshire, so it's less common for Welsh language fluency in my neck of the woods. Although there's been a surge in popularity for Welsh language schooling in more recent years so it is improving, it's much more common for Welsh to be spoken North Wales (& they've got their own 'tweaks' on the language making it very slightly different with use of 'mutations' & what not).

Basically, you don't need to speak Welsh to be Welsh

Hello all,life has been the way again,with one thing or another,the sun is being very good and shining just now,the warmth through the window feels good,garden stuff is very slow,what with the weather and other stuff,but have some things about ready for planting out and my lovely man to help,the weeds are making themselves know,the ground is still to wet to do anything much,we did manage to cut an out off control thug of a shrub down to the ground,only to descover that ivy from next door is damaging the garden walls,he cannot deal with it himself,neither can his limited family,i have to get rid of it somehow,as i want a shed for potting up and extra storage,the hedge cutter will not touch the ivy,so i need help from family with that one,iam hopping to get lucky enough to get parsnips carrot and beetroot to grow this year not failure again,long story,still waitng for exray results on my chest and spine,i have an MRI scan on Sunday top to bottom,the evil one within seems to be permenant now,it does not care where it strikes,or what intensaty it applies,i wish it would vacate,any how,i am better than a lot off folk,but what really get up my nose is,peeps,saying it's old age,no it is NOT,have a good day all

Good afternoon, havent been doing much recently, had the family in on Sunday to deliberate out diamond anniversary, we had such a good day with them all here, a lazy day on Monday then Tuesday was at hospital to get a nail removed but the podiatrist reckoned the problem was from cutting my nails too short, so she did some work on the nail thensaid if any problems contact her and she would remove it, got a phone call from another hospital on Wednesday to ask if I would be willing to postpone my cataract procedure next Tuesday, as they had an emergency and needed to fit it in as soon as possible so that has now been put back, though I did get a phone call this morning asking if I could come in today, unfortunately I require my daughter to drive me to the hospital and there's no way she could get the day off in such short notice, plus I didnt want to push my luck as it was my daughter who drove me down for my op for carpal tunnel, only for it to be cancelled, then on Tuesday with that one cancelled I think I would have been told to walk thertyfive miles is just that bit too far.
Earlier to day I got a bit frustrated with trying to talk to an AI answering service, for some reason it wasnt picking up my name then my problem, a jistdinny ken whythees things dontunerston folk whenthurtalkin, evidently they need to get a course in Inglish , and while mentioning frustration OH is making good progress, she can now get onto the kitchen, which to me is fine but listening to her you would think a bomb had hit it, sixty years and I still dont understand why its important to put thing past, after all we would be using the cups, plates and cutlery again, so just leaving them on the draining board should be fine, but why cant women look at things logically, ah one of lifes mysteries well have a good evening and keep the smiles close so that you can pass them on
