  • Afternoon all.

Bright blue and quite warm here today. Chilly at night. Been promised some firewood on Monday or Tuesday. Mr Snoop will be pleased as he's starting to feel the cold.

About to go and have a lie-down. Loads to do but can't keep my eyes open. So I might just as well give in.

Have a great rest of the day, everyone.

Anyone use those jigsaw mats you can roll the jigsaw up, rather than leaving it out?

      • Good afternoon, still blustery wind and squally rain, daughter was out for a walk with the dogs and dropped in, while she was in she tidied up the kitchen, though did try to drop me "in it" she shouted through to her mum " I've seen it a lot tidier mum" , to which OH replied "oh thats your dad"to which I reminded them that I am working with one had just now, well while the can see me, shortly after she was getting ready to go home when another heavy rain shower started, so I loaned her my car to go home, after all I didnt want the dogs to get wet. Unfortunately I had some water come in, in the conservatory, theres not much but even a little is too much, I think it was caused by the torrential rain and extremely high winds, unfortunately I can't get up onto the roof to check it just now , however I,will suggest to daughter that she takes her mum out fora wee while and I could be up and back down before the come back, had to read Flows 1st. post today twice before seeing she only had one t in a word, though at the age of some of us you can never tell, still getting some really heavy showers, another one on just now, fortunately I dont need to be going out but those who do, take care and keep safe, find something that makes you smile and pass on the smiles

CG I’ve got two puzzle carriers both different they’re a bit like art folders but have sort trays and a puzzle board. It’s just a matter of zipping them up and leaning them against the wall, the pieces stay in place.
Ones a Portapuzzle the others a Jigsort.

Glad you got it, Flo, because I haven't got the foggiest.

I'll pass the message on, by the way.

I tried one CG but didn’t get on with it. I much prefer my board which has a solid lid zipped around the edge. It slides beautifully under the sofa. Highly recommended tbh. Sounds like yours Bren.
The first one I had didn’t have a zip and opened up like a book with two smaller sides but pieces did occasionally escape

wow…no wind this morning!…in the garden yesterday, it felt like the classroom piccie of a child holding a brolly in the wind representing Autumn!
I finally got around to collecting apple windfalls and was shocked at how the remaining apples on the tree have grown over the past couple of weeks!
Hope everyone has a great day…and keep sharing those smiles!

                        • Morning all.

Cup of tea, Nicos? I'll make it quietly as no doubt the rest of the world is still abed.

Still breezy here but the sun is shining so can't complain. Here in the Midlands we don't seem to get the weather as bad as everyone else around the edges.

                          • Morning all.

The wind has blown itself here, Nicos. Yesterday was calm but today it's more than enough to get Jack all excited. So much for a peaceful training session.

Domestics and paid work today. But no complaints, as we had a lovely day here yesterday.

Time for coffee I think. Anyone fancy joining me?

                            Have a great day, everyone.

Edited: Didn't spot you there, Bren. I'm up for a tea if you fancy a coffee later.

The rain and gusty winds seem to have settled down some here, poor little windsock looks more like a rag this morning. I think I'm full of tea this morning my next drink will be Red tea just for a change.

                                Enjoy your Sunday.
