Has anyone else noticed that when adding icons from bottom of page, if text is near the bottom I need to move page up to add them?

Its as if there is an invisible dead area near bottom of page?

Or is it only me?

Have you got a large grey arrow on the bottom right of the page?
that was put there for quick access to the top of the page.
That seems to have stopped working too and falls within the same band sideways as the 'dead area'
maybe they are linked?

Have got the grey arrow, if anything falls within the dead zone it doesn't work.

Yes...I've looked at something else which links in with that

When you choose a page forwards or back on the same thread using the page numbers at the bottom ( rather than at the top) -if those numbers are level with the arrow they don't work. Move them slightly higher and they work again.

If it falls within the dead zone it doesn't highlight when hovered with the mouse cursor.

Just testing the dead zone on my kindle .
if I turn my kindle to portrait instead of landscape both the smiles and the grey up arrow work.

I wonder if the grey arrow is somehow 'infront' of the rest of the screen - like an overlay? My grey arrow doens't actually do anything though (now even showing a hyperlink bottom left of the page to suggest it's going anywhere) . Does anyone else's grey button do something?

I have to be honest, I hadn't noticed it until now as I had an advert at the bottom of my screen which I have only just bothered to close - so I never used the bottom bit of the screen until now (facepalms)

There was an ad in that dead zone yesterday,it closed easily when clicking the x,I didn’t need to zoom into the x to make it bigger to click on it like before. Maybe they're adjusting it or something,I can’t imagine it being gone already.

Same problem here, and agree it seems to be to do with the advert X marks the spot box. There was a similar problem on the old site, but at least here you can close the ad rather than opening it.
