Good afternoon all,,Happy late birthday snoop,pleased you had a good time,we had a smidge of rain not long ago,just now sky is actually a pale blue with bits of white and grey ,have a god eveing and bgood 2yrselves

Evening all.. still not quite back at full strength, very nice works Christmas meal Friday night, work all day yesterday..today delivered all the seed orders for the club I run.

I didnt realise what I was taking on there.. very pleased to have it all sorted now!

Thanks for the good wishes, guys. It's yet another public holiday today in our village. Shame that most of my clients are elsewhere, so it's back to work for me. Most of the friends left yesterday, so it feels strangely quiet now.

Looking bright out outside at the moment but due to get quite windy.

Half past nine here. Have I got the nerve to tell Mr Snoop it's time to get up so he can make me a coffee? Probably not just yet...

Mornings,
a wet and windy one here, with a fence panel leaning over, so I'd better go and prop it up before it breaks completely.
Trashco delivery this after' and making room for it all in the cupboards this morning Apart from picking up the cream, milk, meat and salad just before the day, this should be it until well into next month - assuming my lists/planning have worked

Got book club Xmas meet tomorrow so I have half a salmon to cook and a quiche to make at some point today.

Afternoon all, early evening really I suppose cos it's dark out. woke with a thumping headache this morning which has kept me quite quiet but that has gone at last. Thank you Mr and Mrs paracetamol.

It does seem more like evening than afternoon really throws me out getting used to these early dark nights. House smells nice of baked bread .

I will make it good evening, bright and dry today but stayed cold all day, spread some polyethylene over the grass and emptied some old flower baskets onto it, some had vine weevil in them so have left the compost to the birds to go through it and clean it up the baskets with the weevil were all wall baskets so I take it the adults crawled up the wall to get into them so wonder if I could try a grease band or sticky tape next year, I will give it some thought and let you know, well enjoy your evening , and if you are going out take care

Its a small world I have just taken my eldest Grandson to the Docs because his Mam couldn't get away from work to take him. The patients name comes up on a television screen when its your turn.
Unfortunately this old chap couldn't see the screen so asked me if I would look out for his name appearing and let him know when he had been summoned.
He had quite an uncommon surname and I happened to mention I had a teacher when I was at junior school with the same surname. When we started chatting it was apparently his wife
What I didn't tell him was that I had a crush on her. In those days the teacher used to sit on a high lectern seat and desk at the front of the class. Embarraingly, I recall sitting in the front row and purposefully knocking my pencil on the floor so that when I retrieved it I could look up her skirt I was only 10 at the time
