I'm making more burgers for the freezer today so it will be a convenient choice of 57 for us.

Sweet potato fries with veg burgers and salad.

Change of plan!…it’s pouring down and getting pretty windy ,so jacket spud with a side salad with a filling of choice. Think mine might be tinned salmon and sweetcorn, with lashings of butter!

This evening, cottage pie with cheese on top, and mixed vegetables. Extra gravy.

Chicken breast stir fry with mushrooms, peppers, onions and rice.
Cheese and crackes with a glass of red.

Pizza tonight

Chinese throw out.

Partly m&s and partly home cooked Chinese tonight.

Cup of tea and a piece of panettone in the end for supper last night. Too full from lunch.

Try for the stroganoff tonight. If we leave them much longer, the mushrooms are liable to turn to mush.

Yesterday fish, chips and peas.

This evening our usual tagliatelle, bol and garlic bread etc.

Home made beef burgers with wedges and salad. I'll have gherkins on mine, much to Himself's disgust

Soup tonight. Curried sweet potato I think, made with coconut milk and with cottage cheese blended in at the end for extra protein.

Chicken goujons, potato mash, beans and sweetcorn followed by mixed fruit trifle with whipped cream and custard no less .

I nearly changed my mind about the curried sweet potato soup. I'm so glad that I didn't. I think it was the best I've ever made, just the right amount of warmth, and tasty with it. I have no idea how much curry powder I actually added because I opened the pot, added a good sprinkle to the pan, decided it would need more and a load of big clumps fell into the pot. I fished some out, before they melted, but I've no idea how much actually ended up in there.

Chicken and mushroom pie with chips and roasted cauli. A bit ‘beige’ so I’ll probably add some peas and grated carrot to the pie.

Fancying a crumble using a mix of fruit from the freezer. Served with custard.
