Having checked the dates and freshness of everything in the fridge, I think tonight we'll have bacon and mushrooms in a white sauce on garlic toast with a side salad.

I might even get round to the apple pie that I'm still fancying.

Amazing! Quick, simple and a big hit with Mr GF.

The apple pie changed to apple and blueberry crumble and was also very enjoyable.

Last night a steak pasta dish with garlic bread and salad

Tonight may be pizza or bbq depending on the weather and if OH can be bothered to bbq.

I'm going to roast a chicken in the air fryer today. I'm still trying to decide what to have with it. I might let the weather guide my decision.

Bit of a buffet tonight.
Well, it’s my ‘posh ‘ way of saying left over bits and pieces which don’t really go together! Half a burger bun , a few chips, some stew, lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes…. It feels like I’m about to have a ‘Ready Steady Cook’ event like GF did yesterday

No tea for me. Yuk! For some unknown reason I went off it years ago. But a thick slice of proper bread with a really thick layer of proper butter and an even thicker layer of homemade strawberry or raspberry jam. Yum! With coffee or milk.

BBQ pork and lamb…enough to have tomorrow too.
Bread and butter pudding and icecream for pud.
