I've just made three cheese and onion tarts for the freezer. The last ones were "soggy" so I've used more eggs this time. I could certainly have done with some of yours Nicos!

Meat balls with Jacket potatoes and baked beans.

Cauli and coconut curry tonight. Too tired last night, so we ended up with breaded fish from the freezer, rice and peas.

Ciabatta bread pizza with quinoa salad.

Carbonara using the last of OH’s home cured bacon.

Today, I 'm thinking warm sausage rolls, date and apple chutney, spicy wedges, couscous salad, and a small green salad with a bucket of homemade mayonnaise for Mr GF. Possibly a few beer battered onion rings.

Strawberries and cream.

I didn't make onion rings yesterday, but we did have corn on the cob instead. The strawberries (British) were absolutely wonderful. Unbelievable for the time of year.

Today moussaka and salad.

I might try to get some more strawberries for dessert.

Not sure, but we do have some cooked kale which needs using.

Moussaka sounds good, GF. I've got everything required for a lentil one with ricotta topping. Might just have to be that! Thanks for the inspiration.

I feel a hot crossless bun baking session might be in order as well.

I'm making minestrone soup for this evening, I'll be using some kale in it Nicos.

^^^^mmm…quite fancy making some of that…espesh as I just froze some stock from the bones of the chicken thighs we had the other night!

OH has decided on a stir-fry….and seeing as he is in a cooking mode, I’m very much up for that!

Got some chipolatas left over from Sunday's toad in the hole, so tonight will be a fry up.

As I couldn't decide I've gone for the shortest dated item in the fridge, salmon.

I think it will go in a risotto with peas, sweetcorn and some preserved lemon.

Definitely strawberries and cream today. There were no nice ones available yesterday.
