Cooking Tonight #5

Tonight asparagus, sweetcorn and salmon risotto.

I've also got a Victoria sponge in the oven (well actually a Delia's all in one sponge), which I'll fill with strawberry jam and serve with whipped cream tomorrow.

Plenty spare. It will unofficially be my birthday cake. I was going to say the only way I ever get one🥲...... but a couple of years ago I did get a Kevin the Caterpillar one delivered. (not from Mr GF!). I'll jam it and stack it tomorrow morning and give most of it away.

Sponge cake filled with strawberry jam and served with a dollop of softly whipped cream.
