Tuna pasta bake for us this evening.

Lentil and spinach curry in chapatti wraps with fresh coriander and toms.

We had beans and bacon on toast last night.

Today: cauliflower and pear soup. Also, some more bread rolls and a loaf of bread.

I've got braising steak slowly cooking with celery, onion, mushrooms and carrots in the slow cooker. Next job: make some pastry. Later make it all into a pie to have with mashed potato, french beans, roasted squash topped with blue cheese and gravy.

Tonight is going to be: salmon baked with lemon and capers, potatoes dauphinoise, carrots, peas and homemade mayonnaise.
Maybe a rice pudding with lots of skin and nutmeg on top.

Steak, mushroom and potato pie with sprouts, carrots and peas.
Will bake a custard tart while the ovens on.

Confit de canard, cauliflower cheese, carrots and maybe some broccoli. Custards for pud. Bread rolls from the freezer for carbs.

Edited: no cauliflower cheese but figs baked with the duck, seemed like a better match and made less washing-up. And no custards but a slab of chocolate cake out of the freezer with ganache topping, seemed easier and made less washing-up.

Pasta in creamy sauce last night, with leeks, black kale and strips of raw smoked salmon.
Roast chicken tonight with roast spuds, leeks and cabbage.

Need to do a grory hop tomorrow as the fridge is looking bare. But the one thing left in there is steak. So tonight will be steak with pepper sauce, garlic bread, avocado and tomato salad, onion rings in beer batter and sweetcorn.

Thick and hearty chicken and chunky veg soup (stoup) - Chicken and homemade stock from yesterdays roast, with celeriac, leeks, butternut, garden herbs, garlic and (thrown in at the end) red cabbage. Served with crispy fried potatoes.
