Glorious start to the day. Sunny with a cool breeze.

Got loads done in the garden and on my veg patch.
At 3pm exactly went very dark and we had a squally shower with hail, and now we have just had the second one.

The temp has dropped as well.

Went for run. Bit chilly would be understatement.
Nice and sunny now but will need greenhouse heater on tonight as sky clear so frost likely.

Edit: brief snow flurry 5.25pm.Dashed out to put fleece on plants in g'house and light second burner.

Had some sleet earlier this morning, sky cloudy with sun peeping through and very cold.

Just woke up to thick snow.
Took some photos of cats first time in snow, at least its melting a bit now.
          Quite cold and getting wetter.

            Yet more snow.

Woke up to a world covered in shaving foam.

Had sporadic snow flurries and bright sun all day.

                Hot.

Been a very hot dry week so far.
Rain butts already empty so had to resort to filling them with hose.

Very hot at the mo. I have sunburnt ears from mowing the lawn.
                To hot to plant out.

                    Wet, wet, wet, great
My plot needs it, 2 weeks of NO rain. Though I feel silly sitting here with summer suntan and summer clothes on....feels like bleedy winter again!!!

No rain here but cold and overcast. If it rained I would feel better about not being able to do anything!

Tipping it down in Essex, but hey - the garden needed it. The rain barrels have been empty for the past three days so had to resort to tap water. Still, at least the rain means I am not lugging watering cans around the garden.

                          Quite cool and dull here.
Had light shower of rain, not much use to garden..might have to water newly planted veggies soon..!!

Been cold and dull last few days.
Yesterday constant drizzle, damp and chilly.

                            Today woke up to sunshine.

i nipped in the allotment last night on the way home from work and most of the old boys were down there covering up the runners as they say there is going to be a frost ...

and looking at the weather there could be one tonight

If there is going to be a frost tonight, i need a piece of fleece to cover the entire garden.
