I’m presuming you can get the hole protectors online?….do they come in different sizes for different birds?

Hope they fledged, Nicos. SBP put a link to nest box plates at post 6, yes they come in different sizes.

The blackbird that wrecked my watercress has finished building and started to lay, and now I'm concerned because for the first time this year I caught a neighbourhood cat in the garden. The nest is only about four feet off the ground and easily accessible to a climbing cat. The blackbird is nowhere near as clandestine as the robin was, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed the cat visit was random and not the result of a stake-out.

I mentioned this to my OH…and he said he could probably make some as we have a selection of metal cutters he had to use when we were converting our van into a camper…..a bit of filing down the sharp edges and that should do the trick!
