Out of the 4 I'm growing the red cherry are doing the best. Originally I was alternating them 1 on the kitchen windowsill and the other 3 under thegrow lights. The red cherry is a bit taller now the rest so if I swap I have to adjust the lights and the HHW the baby of the group the lights will be to high!!

Or I could swap with the HHW wiith the red cherry and leave it downstairs and it will get what natural daylight aa possible.
I would continue as you are with the rotation. Adjust the lights to the height of the red cherry, and raise the HHW to the same height by standing it on something, e.g. a book.

Wow! How come you're leaving just three for next month?

Are you raising multiple plants of each variety?

The 3 for next month are very quick growing and don't have to ripen before eating.

Number of plants depends on variety anything from 1 to 8 of each.

                      • I can't wait any longer....(scoot don't read this, I'm just testing germination rates )

In the prop that's been warming up for days, warmed my soil on the aga all night

                        Just 2 seeds of each,
                        Chocolate hab,
                        Lemon drop,
                        Kashmiri Mirch,
Decisions, decisions, I may add a few more even if I should wait awhile..

This is why I am not buying my compost until the end of this month at the earliest. I literally have no new compost so i can't sow anything yet. If I had compost right now, I'd have already sown stuff.

February is my month. I'm sticking by that (for now).

don't use books try things like wood or takeaway tubs..i dont use the mat for watering ,i use small pots in the trays ,then take out and put in bigger tray for watering.as thay get biger,

                              this is any help.

                              • My plants are thriving under the light.

                                28 December:

                                Same plants yesterday (13 January):

I just wish I could get more seeds to germinate; I don't seem to have the knack of that. I'm trying to turn it into a positive, though - the ones that haven't popped are leaving vacancies for me to try other varieties. And I'm sure if I decide I do really want a Bhut Jolokia, I'll be able to buy a plug plant or young plant in a couple of months' time.
