I think it does mean its a good day to have your hair cut as it grows back less quickly! Also for hedge cutting (especially if your hair looks lke a hedge as mine does)

        • is it not a little early to be sowing beetroot? or do you find better results sowing them early?

          • I sowed them on the 12th January last year, in modules indoors. Then planted them out when they're a bit bigger. They did fine last year but I'm no expert and its all experimental gardening with me! I don't have a plot where I can plant a row of seeds and wait for them to grow so most of my seeds start off in pots.

                    FULL MOON

                    Synodic:
Now is a good time to sow root vegetables, berries, bulbs, onions, biennials, and perennials.

                    Biodynamic:
Moon in Gemini: This is an Air sign. This is a good time to sow Flowering plants like Cauliflower.

                    Sidereal:
Moon in Gemini: Barren and dry, and yet good for promoting flower growth.
