After offloading 5X20Kg bags of layers pellets purchased at the local cornmarket at the allotments, I attended to the chickens needs, watering, feeding, egg collecting.

I then had a pleasant half day session tidying up and weeding.

I've built 2 raised beds, extended my strawberry bed, pruned my cherry tree, and tidied the shed. I'm off to lie down now my backs in pieces, and my hands are like two wire brushes.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Sunday afternoon - planted into modules some Autumn planting onion sets - I know - very late, BUT they only cost 10p at Dobbies. Heeled in 3 raspberry canes - £1 each from Poundland - to the flowerbed until I can take them down the plot. Admired my new Cherry tree - Xmas pressie from sister. First time for about 4 weeks that I have done anything garden related other than look at garden 'porn'!

Having not been around here much for the last few months, thought I had better show my face
Today I went down the lottie for the first time this year and took down the bean sticks that should have come down last autumn. Went to put on my wellies and found one half full of water! Guess there's a leak in the shed, then.

On the plot - I pruned the Autumn Raspberries and tidied up the strawbs.
Pruned the roses in the hedge, then harvested leeks and a white cabbage.

In the garden I did a bit of tidying and bagged up rubbish for the binmen. In the greenhouse I pulled out all the grotty salad that the slugs/snails have ruined, despite the blue pellets of doom

Sat and had a cuppa in the sun

sowed 12 different types of chilli seeds, and 16 different types of tomatoe seeds. 10 seeds of each type, come April, god knows where they will go though

Thoroughly cleaned and disinfected No1 Greenhouse. I am now largely germ free too (over-enthusiastic use of a spray bottle full of ***** Fluid).- and high as a kite.
Pruned blackcurrant, gooseberry and autumn fruiting raspberries.
General tidy-up -raking up of further leaves, clearing of spent cauliflower stems, assembling stuff I want to burn,
Opened sheds. Looked inside. S'funny, didn't hear that bomb go off. Shut sheds and quietly crept away....
At least I know what my next job is going to be...
