Also planted out the PSB and transferred about 80 litres of water from the water butt at home to the allotment. There are roadworks starting today, for 2 weeks, directly outside the allotments and I very much doubt I will be able to park the car anywhere near while they are there, so I moved as much water as I could while I could to make as much space as possible at home.

This weekend looks like a write-off. It is already raining and forecast to do so until midnight, and tomorrow I am busy all day. If I have time I need to collect the rain water and harvest any ripe tomatoes, but I will be lucky to have a chance to do anything else.

The flooding has disappeared and I had planned to spend the afternoon at the allotment, but a computer issue ate the whole afternoon and evening (and is still not fully resolved), so I never got back. I did manage to cut the lawns at home, which seemed to have grown over night.
