No dig is definitely the way forward!
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs! https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...lies/smile.gif

We're well in to the no dig journey now.. its amazing just the first year and hardly any weeds, so little watering.. just really positive!

Glad you're enjoying no-dig and getting good results Cptn. We had a good first year when we turned over to no-dig, this is our 6th year in and still finding every year gets better and better. The lack of weeding alone gives so much more time to do the fun stuff and crops can be grown closer together so yields are higher.
Nice looking caullies you've got there..

Once you get into no-dig it really does work, most of my weeds are self seeded flowers especially poppies and violas.

                Thanks guys!
I really do intent to carry it on, it is truly remarkable.. ive never had spring onions or lettuces like it!
Most things are a little behind this year.
Unfortunately now the blight has already reared its ugly head..
