BTW what do sweetcorn seedlings look like? I ask only because I've never grown it before and the ones in the stayput look like stalks. I just wondered if the slugs had been at them?

Well maybe I took your good day, G4. Window man turned up to quote for the replacement double glazed unit so I was able to take Rosie out for her morning walk on time. Home via the pet food shop and ready for a noon time nap her and me . Then for a bit of dog proofing the fences again (she had demolished the expandable willow panels and because they are nailed together they are a bit hazardous for her to chew) - with some metal fixed panels wired in place now. Think I will put some solar lights on them
Then off to the lottie for another hour hacking back the undergrowth! Rosie loves it there - she has a fixed tether and a long rope lead so she can wander almost at will. All the lottie neighbours love her.

Thanks Both As half of my marigold seedlings have been demolished, I thought the snugs had done for the sweetcorn as well.

Girls are watching Casualty with Himself. I see enough of hospital during the week so I've sneaked out. Himself has had a pretty good day - he backed the winner in the Grand National and he's got 3 numbers on the lottery. They say it comes in threes - hope it's the raffle!
