Was told today that one of the pumps at morrisons had been set wrong and was giving petrol at .14 per litre instead of 1.41 pr litre . Did I rush and fill my car up ? Noooo I was planting out my onions ....much more important

Ridiculous. They'll probably be some early scheduled deliveries in the week, so by mid-week when the second flush has gone and topped up they should be quieter again.

I drove back north from swindon yesterday and saw several tankers filling up rural stations that were charging well about 1.46 for petrol... these are usually higher prices that we pay in sunny sheffield and did notice that the further north we got the petrol price got less... me thinks there is a lot of 'RIP-OFF' happening down south.

Me thinks I need a taxi sign putting on the roof......they seem to be given preference. Guess they must be an emergency service.

i'm getting my pushbike out .... might feel a bit out of place as the only cyclists round here wear lycra shorts and i dont have any .... but at least i'll be able to ride through red lights shouting at "idiot" pedestrians and bus drivers and cars that get in my way .... i'll be on a pushbike, therefore i will have absolute right of way ....

You are being ironic, aren't you?

I don't see anyone doing that. It's a figment of redtop imagination. Here's how it really is: Cycle Cam - YouTube

                            • Did a food shop at T***o's today and drove round to see what the diesel situation was. No one at the petrol station, so I thought it was all empty, but NO. I already had half a tank full so filled up with no problem. Cost £1.47p per litre, a bit more than the last time! A full tank will last me well over a month.
