Hope the link works for people who are not members. It appears to be a failry complex pattern but is made so there there are no seams to rub when it is worn inside a bike helmet.

Quite in awe of the talent on the Vine. I wish I was more creative, but I can follow a pattern. I've just finished these for DD's twins.

(Can't remember who recommended the Ravelry site - but I love it!)

Well, I always say that I'm no good at crafts, but I can sew, knit, crochet, do embroidery and tapestry. Did try patchwork years ago but it was nowhere near as good as Flummery's.

I make rag rugs (am making a clippie rag cushion cover at the moment) and have just started to learn to spin, something I've always wanted to do, and I love it!

I did lots of the above when the kids were little and now I seem to have started doing them again after 20 odd years

great tartan dress, are you sitting on an invisible stool?
Lovely quilting too, and the cakes and animals...

I taught myself to knit a few weeks ago to make my mother a pair of socks that don't squish her ankles and keep her feet warm, they were not very pretty but apparently they do the job, phew...so now I do a mean double rib stitch, but cannot get the hang of single rib for some reason...
I paint, and I'm currently painting what feels like the never ending nude.

My father got a sewing machine out of a skip for me a few years ago, it only does straight or zig-zag stitches, and not too complex for someone who has almost zero facility with stitching clothes except to mend them.

I think everyone who gardens is creative and crafty! It goes with the territory.

If you could see the extension to my raised bed that I made yesterday in between biblical downpours, you would understand why I have said nothing.
I admire the talent on display on this thread, but have absolutely nothing to add of my own creation.

Something in wood from the boys?...Okay then. This is a staircase I built for our new roundwood green 'n' groovy eco- village shop last Autumn. (can't claim its 100% male creativity as I work with Mrs P...but she is more the fine furniture/dovetail end of the operation)

That's gorgeous. I love wood. My dad did too - he made the most fantastic marquetry pictures and boxes.
