I think most of us have the capacity for some degree of OCD. Some of us fight it,and go to the opposite extreme (that's me, I NEED chaos!), some just give their OCD something harmless to play with (like sorting pegs by colour) and some really suffer!Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.Comment

Personally I understand the checking you've locked things to some extent even though I don't do it as if you forget to lock a door you have a potential security risk. Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

I like the term 'peg brigade' (so happy it isn't just me!).
Obviously they have to be in correct colour formations but also the right way round. I have three different sets that are bi-coloured, so I can only ever put them on the line so that the same colour of each one is facing the same way. It gets complicated though, because two of the sets have one of the same colours, so it's ok to have all of those facing the same way but it's NOT ok to have the colours on the reverse side in a random order.

I've just noticed/remembered something.
I can't stand empty packs of aspirin etc being put back in the box (because then you think you've got plenty of tablets, until you need one and it's just full of empty blister pack). So I have to go through snipping off the empty blister packs with scissors.
It's now got so that instead of popping out tablets, I have to cut them off the blister pack
