  • I have my suspicions that some of the OCD freaks are winding the rest of us up somewhat, surely nobody is that up tight about things?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

    • My house would never give away that I've a few ocd tendencies but I'm part of the 'peg brigade'...but mine have to be the same, not different.Whereas my sis is the other way round where hers have to be different colours on each item.
Also, when buying loose fruit I have to buy an odd amount...my sis has to get an even amount.
Needless to say we could never go back to sharing a house.

I've tried to just buy four or six apples, although I'm not so bad that I think something awful will happen if I do,it just doesn't feel right?!

Errrrrm why don't you just buy how many you need? ie in our house, two people x 5 packed lunches = 10 apples - simples........

I like odd numbers too, but I think that comes from gardening: "always plant in 3s or 5s" I just think odd numbers of things look nicer than even things

Now, I like odd numbers when growing stuff, or photographing stuff.

Weird how we all grow up completely different innit?

Not having a spare room, I have an oldfashioned ceiling airer in the kitchen but I like to hang it on the line when the weathers good. (and I use any shape or colour of pegs).
