Ooh Binley - your mention of the breadmaker being OH's domain - I forgot to add mine on my list but it was my late OH's fave machine: it is in the shed and he always was proud of his 'shed bread' - I am proud to report that I made my first set of shed bread last weekend ( lost instruction book and all!)
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Media Bounty :: Competitions :: Competitions :: Win a signed Panasonic Breadmaker

For those of you who like to make your own bread, and those who would like to start. Seems like a decent bread maker for the lucky winner.

I think it's because I prefer to boil my tatties so do them on the hot plate and then may as well just put a steamer on top to do the greens rather than get a totally separate item out. Not used mine since a year last Christmas when I had a house full and ran out of hot plate space.

I have a stove top steamer, which is great for doing up to 3 different veggies, and sometimes I steam chicken or fish in it too.
          Use it most days.
Wouldn't think an electric one would be any better than this.
Didn't consider it a gadget as it is basically a pan with 2 other pans with holes in the bottom.
Actually considering getting another one, as I could often do with an extra pot or two.
It also saves on the gas, as only one burner is in use instead of 3 (or 4, if I do get another).

Forgot to mention my Mezzaluna. OH searched high and low to find one for me for Xmas a couple of years ago and then after Christmas for the next few months it seemed like every shop we went into was selling them.

A breadmaker every year! That's really bad, our Panasonic is used about 3 times per week and is now 3 years old with no signs of failing.

It gets used about every other day. Morphy Richards is the best one we've had and we're on the second one now!
