It's not really a gadget but:
I bought one of Ikea's massive steel collanders a while ago because it looked quite sexy, even though it was Ł10 (that's pricey in my world).
I've never used it because I forgot that all my saucepans have lids with drainer holes in.
It just sits in my cupboard looking pretty.

Snap - but I don't even count those because I don't use them!!

I've gathered just about most of the above gadgets in one form or another over the years and I still use them all because I really love gadgets! But some of my favourites:
          Coffee grinder
          Pineapple corer/peeler
          Mango stoner
          Juicer
          Bread maker
          Ice Cream maker

Not really a gadget but I adore my prep bowls (little glass bowls with snap lids) - get everything ready in advance and it makes me feel like a real cook

not gadgets, but global knives & Meyer Circulon pans are brilliant & tend to use the knives insteead of chopping dadgets & the pans as mixing bowls, etc.

            Regularly Used
Mini food processor gets used far more than the full size jobby i used to have
Hand Blending Stick used all the time
Small Hand held mixer had it yonks and use it loads

            Sometimes Used
            Coffee Machine
Deep Fat Fryer (when only proper chips will do!!!)

            Never Used
            Jug Liquidiser Thing
            Sandwich Toaster
            George Forman Grill
Electric Steamer (use steamer on pan on hob much less faffing)

Sure there's more we never use but Ive obviously forgotten what it is

Why does everyone seem to find electric steamers so much hassle? I love mine and couldn't be without it

I don't have many gadgets & only regularly use a microwave & ordinary toaster. I tend to mix cakes etc. by hand & have a hand operated rotary whisk for whipping cream/meringues etc. Hubby bought a juicer years ago but I think he's used it about 3 times & I haven't ever used it. I had 2 small electric hand mixers which I hadn't used for years, took one out to make a cake which I was told needed a lot of mixing & managed to burn it out so now I have one electric hand mixer in the cupboard!

Fave at the moment is my Bamix stick blender as I'm making pumpkin soup most weeks. Regularly use the flat pannini thingy for toasted sarnies..

                    Toasty maker,
                    juicer,
                    coffee percolator,
                    deep fat electric fryer,
                    microwave.
                    All used only occasionally.

My favourite and most used tools (sad as this may make me sound) are:
                    Wooden spoon,
                    Balloon whisk,
                    Very sharp kitchen knife,
                    sharpening thingy for the knife
fish slice (or it may be an egg slice, my nan told me the difference once a long time ago, but I forget),
                    slotted spoon.

My kitchen scissors, (which I keep in the kitchen drawer for kitchen use) are forever going missing! When I slam drawers and rattle pots, they (the kids, not the scissors) know that I am looking for them, then I scream randomly at the walls 'Who has got my scissors?'
                    **Listen for padding footsteps**
'Here they are mum' says an angelic voice.
                    **Steam issues from my ears**
No matter how often I say ' When you take things of mine, will you at least put them back before I notice they are gone?' It really doesnt make any difference.

OK, here are mine (and they all get used)

                      Bread Maker
                      Tassimo machine
                      Toastie Maker
                      Hand Blender
Food Processor from the 60s. Still works fine and has most of the original fittings!
                      Microwave

That's it. I normally do cakes by hand - bought the processor for antique value, rather than for use!

Hmmm, I would guess that either:
A fish slice has an angled blade and the egg slice (or egg lifter) has a flat or rounded end
                        or
Fish slice is English, Egg slice/lifter is American

Not 100% though, that's just from 2 minutes research through google which didn't really find an answer.

Lol, thanks for trying Ols. I use it for fish and eggs and multiply other things too.
So I guess it is more of a utility slice really.

                            okay fave gadgies are

Breadmaker - used nearly every day OH's domain .
Toaster - used by everyone nearly everyday.
Expresso coffee maker- used most days once again OH's domain
                            Electric whisk
                            food processor
                            microwave
                            dishwasher

I think perhaps I'm not really a gadget person after reading through the other posts.

Microwave - so many uses I couldn't start!
Breadmaker - for really fresh bread at breakfast time (and I use it as a mixer when making pizza dough)
                              Slow-cooker - brilliant.
Espresso machine (the sort you put on the hotplate)
knife sharpener (nearly put the brand name...) - It's advertised as the easiest to use, and I reckon it would take a really ingenious fool to be unable to use it.
'eskimo-style' knife -great for cutting raw meat and fish, but will do other jobs too
French-named thing for chopping herbs etc (I think the name is 'hachoir', but may have the spelling wrong)
'fitzherbert' steamer (the one that you can sit on any saucepan)
                              wok

Oh nearly forgot the ice-cream machine. Only reason it no longer gets much work is our unreliable 'second freezer', which has managed to spoil quite a lot of ice-cream.....
