Good morning all,we got sunshine again,i have several large barrels of rain water,so will have to get some onto the the area's i want to put seeds,ext in,get it to soften up,steady on with the backs girls,pace yourselves,there is no rush or shame in having a rest,even if it's only to stand up straight and breath naturaly,have a seat ready for a sit down,and do not try and make yourself do it,as it will become another chore,and not your hobby ,have a good day everyone,time for a late brakefast then some garden jobs

Morning all.

there seem to be a lot of bad backs on here ATM. Is this a symptom of sudden good weather sending everyone out to do strenuous things in the garden? A few gentle pre-gardening warm-up exercises saves a lot of aches and pains .

Actually mothhawk, I have been out in the garden more this past week than I have been able or willing to be recently, now that OH, is more mobile I can get more time to do some gardening work, and it has helped tremendously with my back, evidently I dont do with sitting about, then again its possible that I am allergic to housework Happy birthday bramble, I am hopping to have as much energy as you have once I reach the same age

Evening all.

Torrential downpour expected at any moment, I've already seen lightning flashes, but not close enough yet to hear the thunder. In expectation of this wet, I used up all the water in my butt to soften the surface of as much of the garden as it would do, so the rain soaks in nicely, and the butt fills up with a fresh lot of water.

It is not raining here yet, but it is supposed to start shortly and rain all night.

I just got a notification from the bank that the two cheques that I paid in on my phone a couple of days ago have cleared. It's the first time that I've paid them in online, in fact it's the first time that I've come into contact with cheques for years. I didn't know that they still existed.

I continued overhauling my wardrobe this afternoon. Another bag for the charity shop ... and it still looks full.

The expected rain swerved past again and all we had was a light drizzle. It's really misty this morning though, a sign that the ground is warming up, Farmers Weather says it is between 11C and 12C today, warm enough for outdoor seed sowing.
