Good morning all.
Last night, I discovered the joys of Mr GF's faux fur electric throw. I was snuggled into my rocker/recliner and felt a little chilly. I took his throw from behind the settee. I had bought it for him for a present the year before last. I draped it over myself and put it on the lowest setting for an hour. Mmmmm! I actually dozed off for half an hour.
rary, for heavens sake take some painkillers! I'm sure that you said that the doctor gave you some. If you don't you'll inadvertantly stop doing things because of the pain, and then one day, you'll find that you can't do them anymore.
I nearly went to the doctor's earlier this week. Whenever I was writing things on my phone (like this) although I thought that I hitting the right letters I was getting gobbledegook on the screen, and I don't just mean odd words. It was as if either my fingers weren't doing what I wanted them to or maybe my brain just wasn't telling my fingers.
It was annoying and a bit scary. I'm glad that I didn't go and either be subjected to unnecessary tests or look an idiot if the doctor has more common sense than me. Have you guessed my problem? My nails had grown too long!!

No sign of the electricity workmen yet today. We do still have a massive hole though which I presume they will at least come back and fill at some point.
Containergardener, I agree about the permits for cars. Councils should encourage and facilitate recycling to help stop flytipping. Good luck with the CT scan.
While searching for our old permit I found some photos that my sister had sent me last year. They were all over 20 years old, some much older. I photographed some of the photos with my phone. I am so glad that I did. Now whenever I start to get upset and start to imagine Mr GF as he was at the end of his life, I look at the new photos on my phone. Mr GF as he was about 25 years ago, a big bear, with a big smile. Much nicer memories.
The breeze is still a frigid north easterly but at least it is more like a breeze than a gale today.

No point in struggling eh?…no bravery awards
Fingers crossed nothing's amiss. Then the grass needs cutting, it does put on a spurt at the sniff of a warm day.
