Good day all,sorry to hear about MR GF,had no idea of him having the care,thinking about you both,i caught sight of the smiles and signaled them to pay you a visit,no wonder you have sleep deprivation,Snoop am sure Jack would like a new sniffing area,hope the injectio helps Burni,crumpets sound good,i have a few in the freezer,they were on offer just before Christmas ,we had a good down pour of rain this morning,brightened up a bit now,but we seem to be threatened with more of the white stuff next week,am glad the roads are cleared just now,tomorrow we going to a pantomime in Birmingham with one of our groups,been booked for a few months,tonight is footy night,so i will fine other things to do,i have plenty to choose from,have a good afternoon

Good afternoon,

I was cursing the laptop as I've not been able to get on here as I changed my password. When I kept entering the new password it kept telling me it was not recognised. I realised why I couldn't get on........I was entering my email address instead of my user name 😂

Sorry to hear about Mr GF, hope the palliative nurses can get Mr GF comfortable and give him things if they are needed. I always feel sad for patients I use to look after who was on palliative care.

Raining here, been out today and done a food shop. My car had a recall but the garage wouldn't do it as I need stuff doing to the car and had to pay £180 for them to do a diagnostic on the car to them tell me the wires on the adblue is not working and then want me to pay out over £500 to get it fixed and then moaned at me when I said I cannot afford that right now.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts.

The nurse has visited. She has put in a request for a prescription review for Mr GF with the doctor. Hopefully, among other things, there will be something to help keep him calm at night and some high calorie drinks too. He more or less slept through her visit, no doubt saving his energy for tonightShe has also made another appointment for 2 weeks time, instead of a month, but have told me that if I need to I can call them day or night before then if I have any concerns.

My wife has had both her hips done, so I have seen first hand what goes on, both post op and a few years down the line. It makes a change that they are looking at putting something in after having my prostate, gall bladder part of a kidney removed lol.

Help with your OH’s sleep will hopefully help you with yours too?

great he is getting the care he needs GF,but you do need to be kind to yourself also,i know what it is like caring for a loved one,it does take it's toll on you no matter what you think,we are all here for you if you want us,just say,do not go things alone,football is on,so i will go sort the mess out in my sewing room,it has all sorts dumped in it,seems a big job untill you start it,then wonders what the hold up was about
