The weather has gone down hill we have rain all morning.

The smiles were reading over my shoulder, CG, saw the word 'crumpets' and shot off. I'm guessing they've reached you already. Reckon they'll linger a while as well. Sounds like you'll be playing a game they like.

Glad you enjoyed your walk, Jay. I need to start going further afield with Jack, bung him in the car and take him off somewhere. Our local walks are starting to feel a bit routine, even though it's lovely countryside, especially these last few days. Very cold nights, but the highs have been in the low teens. Mind you, by the end of the week that's due to change. Jack might have to wait for a new walk...

Plenty to keep me busy today, so better get a move on.

CG, I'd already made coffee when I saw your post but croissants AND crumpets, we are being spoiled

The less said about last night's lack of sleep the better.

The palliative care nurse is scheduled to see Mr GF again today. If she wasn't, I'd have rung them anyway as his health has deteriorated quite a lot in the last few days.

Yes they had arrived here before I got back from the wet walk and are clattering around my seed tins as I type.

Crumpets?…cor- I’d have willingly caught a ride with the smiles. Not had one for ages! mmmmm

Looks like we have watery sun trying to get through- and the wind has dropped, so I’m thinking about going out for a short cycle ride wowww…calm down, it’s only a thought but I do need to shift some of this blubber…

Lots of stuff on my ‘to do’ list- all been ignored for far too long so I need to shake a leg over the next few days.

GF….my heart goes out to you. I really hope the nurse can share some good advice. You are both in our thoughts xx

Damp this morning, gentle breeze and 3 degrees, I had a steroid injection in one of my knees last week, that's the second, they are making noises about replacing it............................oooh 'er.

Did an early grory hop as the forecast showed rain from about 9am till after lunch. But as usual it went around us.



Hope the nurse gets Mr GF sorted.

I'll pass on the croissants, CG, I still have to lose the 4lb I put on over Christmas it goes on so fast, and comes off so slooow....
