Good Morning All, though not as good as usual - neck pain again for three hours in the night. Haircut later on and my eldest son is visiting this afternoon. It is gloomy and damp here again.

We are still trying to get onwith normal day to day living while the passing of my brother in law is imminent.
We are in and out of the hospital where we are told it won't be much longer but that was six days ago.

Jay, it must have been lovely having fakemas with your grandcholdren.

Nicos, I am sure there is great excitement in your house.

Snoop, I hope you get the downtime you deserve.

Mrs G went and got the last few bits as it was manic yesterday ... the shops are only shut for one day, you'd have thought WWIII had been declared so I took Gus the grief out for his morning walkies ... he's snoozing now having eaten his dinner ... might have some breakfast now

Afternoon all,wow Nicos not much mess,there is only me and it looks like a fight has taken place,yes i admit to making a mess,nice to hear Hibou is still fighting her corner,glad you got some wood Snoop,most important for you,how lovely Jay spending time with the grand children,thinking of you Bramble,i have finally finalized my seed order,so await it's delivery next year,when they all back at work,what a nice way to start the new year,YES,have also ordered a logan berry,had one at the other place,so will give room for one here,tomorrow will be all go for everyone,hoping to go get last minuit bits,the car WILL stay at home,be quicker to walk,and less stressfull,have a good day all

Crafting all morning deffo more messy than baking for sure.
We now also have smiling faces drawn all over the windows in white acrylic paint!

Mince pies and gingerbread men to bake this afternoon…we were too tired yesterday after making the almond the pastry .

Hope your neck improves quickly Flo…deffo not a nice thing to try and cope with at such a busy time of the year.

Best get the oven on soon for the baking. We’ll be having jacket spuds tonight, so will make the most of the hot oven.

It’s finally feeling like Christmas here, we’ve decorated the mantle piece, wall lights, mirror and hung cards. Then we had tea and mince pies.

Happy Christmas Eve. Sounds like the Christmassy feeling is spreading. Probably from its epicentre at Nicos's place.

Looking forward to reading MH's bumper crop of Language Funnies today. Meanwhile, it's a dull day today but still 35% possibility of snow in the morning tomorrow, 45% in the afternoon. Again, not much though.

Busy day today. I'll be grovelling to a client for missing a deadline this morning. I hate doing that, but sometimes life gets in the way.

Really want to do a bit of baking today if I can. We've managed to eat all our biscuits... Some ginger fairings would be nice, I think, if I can manage it.

Good morning.

A reasonable night's sleep here, comparatively speaking. It's a chilly 3°C and the frost is loitering. There are a few clouds which appear to be a fetching shade of peach or apricot. I've just looked at the forecast and there appears to be no precipitation in it for the next week, so definitely no white Christmas.

I'm still in bed, enjoying my mug of coffee. At this time yesterday I'd already been out, had a blood test and was back in bed!

I've just been on the Santa tracker website and he is due to set off with his deliveries in under an hour.

I'm happy to say that I don't need to do any more shopping and all the parcels that I've sent have been delivered safely

MH, I too have really enjoyed your language funnies.

I think I'll go and make some more coffee now.

I am still here Sorry for not being around. Just been a busy year. I am off out this afternoon celebrating Christmas as I am working over Christmas and new year.
