Good morning all.
I'm still in bed under the duvet. I do like the feel of brushed cotton bedding at this time of the year.
I went outside to put some rubbish out late last night and it smelled like bonfire night. There's no fog this morning though. I'm sure it always used to be foggy the morning after bonfire night.
I am just debating the merits of getting up and making a coffee or trying to grab another hour of sleep ....... Maybe I'll turn the thermostat up and delay the decision for ten minutes.

Ordinarily we'd leave him at home, but he's been in most of the morning on his own, so he's protesting rather a bit.
was down at the hospital today with OH as she was getting an x-ray, we left the house giving us plenty of time to get to the hospital unfortunately with road works we finished up having to move a bit faster than I wanted to go as I was I intended drive a bit slower to avoid OH getting any bumps, fortunately its mostly duel carriageway and the road was itn good condition, as the road had been resurfaced three or four months ago, took longer to help her out her clothes than to get her x-ray, ah changed times. Once back home I prepared the tea then headed out to the greenhouse for a time, and now feeling a bit sore as I was mixing some cement and a wee drop of concrete, as I dont have a board for doing this I used a poly bag to mix the cement, and mixing it that way is a bit sore on arthritic shoulders, though it does show that I am doing the right thing getting it done before I get old
