        • What a wonderfully colourful garden Rary!…stunning. Well done- very much worth all the hard work you have put in over the recent years.

Thanks for your kind comments about Hibou, though I don’t think she’d be impressed that I shared that photo with you! But yes, she is a very pretty black cat and slowly starting to get white hairs …aww.
I’ve got pill pockets( thanks MH) and gelatine capsules on order for Hibou…so watch this space!
Not sure if the capsules to fill might stick to her throat…it’s a bit deformed inside following a nasty injury 10 years ago. Still…one can only try!

It’s been a long but successful day for me…so I treated myself to a raspberry cream tart on the way home. And why not eh?

          • Good evening, many thanks for the kind comments about the garden, I was trying out a different tablet as the one I am using has a different picture format from jpeg, and I havent a clue how to change it so that I could download, I even tried downloading from my phone, but I am lost with that. The reason for the trials is so that if I do decide to go for doing a blog I can add photos the blog would be a good idea as a record of delivering the different things that I try, but still deliberating on this, but as I am a strong believer that knowledge is no good if it isnt shared, now time to consider bed as I need to be up early to take the car for a service and MOT so I wish you all goodnight and pleasant dreams

              • Morning Flo, morning all.

Very early start to the day due to you-know-who, but it's nice and cloudy out, so easy on the eyes even if they don't really want to open.

Loads to get through today, somewhat hindered by the fact that Mr Snoop is off out, so I'm sole entertainer for you-know-who.

Really hoping you'll start a blog, Rary. Your garden is an inspiration.

                Have a great day, everyone.

                • Good morning all.

A pleasant morning weatherwise. Warm, but not too hot, with intermittent sunshine. I've just looked at the forecast for the next week and all the rain has disappeared from it.

The washer is earning it's keep, chugging away.

I cut one of the banana loaves last night. I'd forgotten just how nice they are, slathered in butter, of course. I'll take one for my brother in law today and also put more bananas on my shopping list.

Rary, those are beautiful photos. I think that digital technology has done wonders for photography. How do you explain to a young person the "joys" of having to lug a separate camera around, and then wait (often months) until the film got developed, at a generally exorbitant cost, to see if there were any decent photos. I used to waste a lot of money on headless, blurry photos with fingers over the lens. No delete button, of course. Looking back, I was an enthusiastic photographer with a noticable lack of talent. I must admit to having a large stash of photo paper, that I've accumulated over time, to use in my printer. I also think that it's pretty amazing that I can instantly send photos anywhere in the world and receive them.

                  Time for more coffee now.

More rain in the night, so hopefully more drive weeding later on!

Good luck with the MOT Rary…always a concern until you get the certificate!
I’m sure you’ve mentioned this previously —is it an iPhone you use?
I’m pretty sure I can help with that…but maybe someone else could help if it’s a different one?

Busy day ahead again…but at least I wasn’t up as early as you Snoop maybe a chance for a siesta later?

Right…stuff to do…keep sharing those lovely smiles of yours,..you never know who might be in need of sharing it .

                      • Morning

That's a lovely garden Rary thanks for sharing, and I do hope you start your Blog.

GF I've noticed since taking digital photos I don't seem to print as many I've got them backed up so i can see them anytime but its still not the same as having a actual photo to hold. One of my hobbies used to be scrapbooking so I do have a lot of photos to work through, might have to get back to it this winter.

                        Enjoy your day

                        • Good morning all, the weather is struggling to make up its mind st the moment, rain ore shine.
Laundry is out and the greenhouse is watered.
I need to visit the florist today for some flowers for my mothers grave, tomorrow is 10 years since she passed.
Looking after my grandson this afternoon with a bit of gardening in between.

Rary, your garden is lovely, lots of variety and colour.
It would if you could do a blog and share all that useful information,

                          Have a good day all,

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Still waiting to get the car back Nicos though its, also getting a service, as for the phone its a samsung which gives jpeg photos, but I just cant get the hang of work with a small screen, the tablet I use is a kindle fire which unfortunately gives heic ( or something like that)photo format which cant be uploaded to the forum the other tablet that I used to post the photos yesterday has a different format to which I am used to and if I go for a blog I would want to be able to upload photos. Need to go and get the washing in, a spit of rain so enjoy the day and keep smiling

We’ve had great storms here this afternoon- so no gardening got done, but it’s been great! I do love a good noisy, flashy bit of bouncy rain- seems to bring out the inner child in me!

At least I’m now on top of all my basic housework

                              • Good morning.

I've been awake for an hour or so and am debating the wisdom of making coffee. Probably a bit early to give in. I've now just set the alarm on my phone for 8.30 in case I manage to grab another hour or so of sleep. I've a delivery due between 9.30 and 10.30am and then a doctor's appointment.

I think I've convinced Mr GF to let me order him a lightweight wheelchair for when he's having a bad day. It has to be lightweight so that I can lift it in and out of the car boot. The one that I think will be most suitable is out of stock until next week.

Nobody appears to have told the rain that it was supposed to have disappeared from the weather forecast.
