Good morning all.
Nicos, I hope the mouse was dead. I think my phobia of mice and their larger unmentionable cousins may stem from a cat that used to bring them into my bedroom alive and then "play" with them. That and finding a dead one in a little used handbag. To this day, about 50 years later, I have no idea what else was in the bag. The whole lot got thrown straight out of the window, which was fortunately open at the time.
I have had 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep and feel so much better for it. I'll give Mr GF's ward a call at about 10ish, when the morning rush should be over and see how he is and what else he needs. I'm hoping that he's a lot better today🤞. I dread to think what the staff on his ward were expecting when I turned up to visit yesterday evening as several asked me if I was "insert my name" and that he kept talking about me. I know a few years ago, in a different hospital, with several broken ribs, when he was transferred overnight, he, while being uncooperative, kept telling the staff that his wife would come and sort them out
. I wonder what they were expecting?? I hope they were pleasantly surprised when I turned up with everything he needed and, in ten minutes, had him sitting up quietly in bed drinking a cup of tea, after taking the medication that he had previously refused. Would you believe I have actually been called "bossy" a few times in my life.🤔
I'll be back later.....

Sunny here. Hope Mr GF makes good progress and good luck to Rary. I did consider a travel kettle Nicos, but I'm sure the tea wouldnt taste as good as when someone else makes it! Have a good day
