Today is my mum's 103rd birthday, and my brother, who is 75 and whom we haven't seen since autumn 2019, made a surprise visit, driving from his home near Doncaster to us in Leicestershire. My mum was thrilled to see him, even behind his face-mask.

      Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
      Endless wonder.

That’s wonderful MH...do please give your mom our birthday wishes - and what a wonderful pressie for her with your brother making a surprise visit

My happy is weeding around loads of self seeded wild violets in my gravel path.
Can’t help but grin with joy at their simple yet colourful flowers.

          I have another happy!

well two actually! ( snoop- your bag of smiles really seems to be doing the business!!!)

First is that we have heating and hot water again ( gawd knows how much it’s going to cost though as he was here for 4 hours and happened to have the part with him)

Second is that we had our first brew made in the camper! I may well have a working sink by this evening too, but I’ll allow my OH the privilege of trying that out!!!!!

                        • After two weeks we have finally got our leaking hot water tank replaced in the loft, been catching drips in trays and emptying them every four hours, even through the night, insurance company let us down badly, a local plumber came to the rescue, now I can relax and sleep again lol.
