I gave away loads of the apricot and walnut cookies from the book you recommended, and Mr Snoop keeps talking about them. In fact, if I make them this morning, we can have crackers with hummus and salad for lunch. Perfect. That's today sorted.
I haven't tried the apricot and walnut cookies, Snoop. If they are that good, I'd better give them a go! It will have to be pecans though, I don't have any walnuts.

Good evening a beautiful evening here sunny and no wind, the day started quite cool but cleared up round about lunch time, but rather than doing anything I've just had a lazy day, getting a bit impatient waiting for my hut, I have equipment scattered around the garden and in the greenhouse and garage and when I think on it just like normal, going out to tie up some of the crocosmia as i intend clearing them out shortly have a good weekend and keep safe

          Good evening all.
It was a beautiful day here.
          Got loads of work done.
Visit to the post office, painting and some gardening.
All this talk about baking, I may have to rethink.
I gave all my baking accessories to number 2 granddaughter who is big into baking.
          Have a good evening all./

Evening, we have had a dull and cooler day today, picked the last of the peas and been doing a lot of dead heading of Roses, been a good year for them this year. We don't venture out at the weekends due to the crowds, so a quiet one is on the cards, might go for a walk round the village with the Bat detector later when all is dark, take care everyone.

I’ve been naughty. Friday has been my socialising ( aka go to the pub) day for several years. I haven’t been there for 4 months. Today I did. Safely social distancinglywise. It was a nice gentle reminder that I have friends who care for me and I care for them.

i haven’t posted on here that I have a major problem with my youngest child. Whilst I was watching friends playing pool, I was suddenly hugged by him. He blocked me on social media some time ago. He also moved house and didn’t give me his address. He doesn’t talk to any of his siblings and they have asked me to keep their whereabouts unknown to him. He’s just told me he’s working here for a few weeks. Much as I love him to bits as my baby, I’m actually scared of him. He’s too volatile and like his dad.

Good morning. I’ve been up since before 5. Next doors cats decided to have a scrap on the roof outside my bedroom window. I might have gone back to sleep if my two dogs hadn’t wanted to try and join in. They sleep with me so there was no chance of them settling down again.

So I’ve done the crossword, read my emails, fed the dogs (early) and am on my second cuppa tea. Then I might disturb the neighbours whose cats got me up by mowing the lawn.

Kettle’s still hot if anyone else wants one.

Morning, proper dull and dark this morning, it feels like Autumn already, cooler too, so I may get some jobs done today, there's some trimmings to shred to go in the compost, so that might be todays job in the garden, enjoy your weekend all.

Afternoon all. Morning gone, but no idea where. Only constructive things I've done so far are get some preferments on the go for sourdough baking and empty the bokashi bins. Wasn't looking forward to the bokashi bins as they've been sitting around for quite some time, but they weren't bad. So, they're back in use again.

                              Hope everything goes well, Janie.

Catch you all later. Have a great rest of the day.

Afternoon all. Spent the morning tidying the garden shed, which after I'd finished simply looked as if I'd moved things around a bit. I take everything out, then start to put it all back neatly but run out of space, so it ends up pretty much as it started.

I suppose I should throw some of the stuff out, but, just 'cos I didn't use it THIS year, doesn't mean it may not be useful NEXT year...

I also replaced the bird box onto the new fence and re-roofed the solitary bee hotel with a bit of rubbery stuff off an old plastic door step. it's not particularly neat, but the hotel is not particularly new (pushing 8yrs ) and if it lasts the winter that's OK.

I feel so much more energetic now it's cooler again.

                                Have a good afternoon, all.
