      • Reclaiming the veg patch and the fact there is so much in it considering the neglect (rasps, asparagus, cardoon, jostaberry, worcesterberry, goosegogs, lots of parsnips, perennial leeks, sea kale, rhubarb, horseradish etc. etc.). It is nice to see a veg patch rather than a blank canvas.

        Yay, for the perennials

        Oh and gorgeous weather. I would say something else but I don't want to jinx it

                            • The peas I planted out have started clinging on to the netting and climbing up. O have tiny flower buds on my gooseberry bush and mara de bois strawberries. And I've seen lots of bees today.

                              • Yesterday I just managed to stop my husband digging up some big "weeds"........which are in fact some rather wrecked and sorry looking cauliflower plants which are actually forming cauliflowers (the biggest at the moment is about tennis ball size).
